Motivated to raise awareness for the planet’s forgotten victims, in 2014 James Aspey took a 365-day vow of silence. After an entire year without speaking, he ended his vow on Australian national television with an interview that reached tens of millions of people and inspired many to make more conscious and compassionate lifestyle choices.
